How good was Rory McIlroy last week at the US Golf Open? An amazing feat for a 22 year old to win one of the most prestigeous golf tournaments in the world against the best players in the world. And by a clear 8 shots at that! Surely only Tiger has ever come close to replicating that sort of result! It was an awesome result when you consider how he had a nightmare final round of the Masters just a month or so ago.
I'm not a huge golf fan but McIlroy's achievement has to be applauded!!!
You have to feel sorry for Jason Day! The Aussie has had a great tournament, shooting 8 under par yet finishing in 2nd place, 8 shots behind!!!! Unreal!!! Bet the prize money comes in handy, though!!!
